What? Jacobi Again-No Way

Gerd "Jake" Jacobi Windcrest Council One of the 3 amigos is trying a comeback!  Watch for the other 2 to file soon. https://www.blogger.com/video-thumbnail.g?contentId=1181fbde77719737&zx=s2uodn7d0689 Jacobi has filed for Windcrest city council.  Check out the council video above.  Jacobi flatly says to the three new council members they are trying to dismantle procedures, we will never be able to work together!   Jacobi is also very very fond of   "Tabling Agenda items"  to undermine the entire council- including the Mayor.   The Garbage fund is still in the red some $50k.  Under Jacobi it was some $280,000 in the RED and all the while Jacobi, Mcfall, Baxter and Shelton smiled and said, we are debt FREE!.   The City Manager is responsible for presenting a balanced budget.  You have to wonder why he is still in charge.  Several years of the Garbage Fund being in the RED.  Only recently did Citizen discover there...

At last, an unidentified source has identified the Authors of the stuff on signs in Windcrest.  The editor, assuming they have one, was not identified. 

Tax Increase of .08 cents per $100

  They increased the tax rate but still the City Manager proposed a budget with "RED" in the garbage fund.  Why can't Windcrest management present a balanced budget?   NOTICE OF 2019 TAX YEAR PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX RATE FOR THE CITY OF WINDCREST, A tax rate of $0.413544 per $100 valuation has been proposed for adoption by the governing body of the CITY OF WINDCREST. This rate exceeds the lower of the effective or rollback tax rate, and state law requires that two public hearings be held by the governing body before adopting the proposed tax rate. The governing body of the City of Windcrest proposes to use revenue attributable to the tax rate increase for the purpose of maintenance and operations and interest and sinking for Capital Improvement projects and to purchase Fire Department equipment. Really? Do you know who is running for Mayor besides Mayor Dan Reese?  Mayor Dan Reese has done an outstanding job since being elected, despite the efforts of the three clowns left over from the previous council.  Those three sure left a mess behind for others to clean up.  Stay tuned.
